License Management

The License Management page at the Controller scope allows centralized management of licenses for A10 Control and connected Thunder devices.

By default, Global License Manager (GLM) is set as the license manager. However, administrators can configure alternative license managers, such as the A10 Control License Manager (ALM) for air-gapped environments or use a remote A10 Control instance as a Primary license manager for large-scale, multi-instance deployments.

To view and manage licenses at the platform level, navigate to the A10 Control home page > Controller scope > Platform > License Management.

On the License Management page, you can perform the following:

Under the License Manager section

• Configure License Manager : Click Edit to change the default license manager to another supported option.

Under the License section

• Search: Use Search to find a license by entering its token number.
• Refresh: Click Refresh to reload the panel to display the current license status.
• Import License : Click + Import License to import an active license token from GLM.
• Expand License: Expand a license to view the following tabs:
  • License Information: Displays license metadata and entitlements.
  • Activations: Shows activation details such as Organization, Bandwidth, Activated On, and Last Synced On. (Activation details appear only if the device is registered and associated with a license).
• Other Actions: Select the license or activation and click the Kebab menu to perform the following:
  • Revoke a License : Deactivates a license or activation.
  • Unrevoke an Activation : Restores a previously revoked device activation.
