NAT Pool

Configure a named set of IP addresses for use by Carrier Grade NAT (CGN) or Large Scale NAT (LSN). By default, A10 Control does not reply to ping requests that are sent to NAT addresses (NAT pool addresses). Instead, A10 Control drops ping requests that are sent to NAT pool addresses. You can enable ping replies for NAT pool addresses, which helps to test the connectivity pool.

You can enable ping replies from NAT addresses on a global basis for IPv4 or IPv6. The setting applies to all IP address pools of the applicable IP version that is configured on A10 Control.

View a NAT Pool List

To view NAT Pool list, navigate to IP/Domain > Pool.

Edit a CGNv6 NAT Pool

To edit a NAT pool:

  1. Navigate to IP/Domain > Pool.
  2. Select a NAT pool that you want to edit, click the Kebab menu, and click Edit.
  3. On the Edit CGNv6 NAT Pool page, update the required details and click Update.
    The update confirmation message is displayed.

Delete a CGNv6 NAT Pool

To delete a CGNv6 NAT pool:

  1. Navigate to IP/Domain > LSN Pool.
  2. Select an NAT pool list that you want to delete, click the Kebab menu and click Delete.
  3. On the Confirmation page, click Yes.
    The delete confirmation message is displayed.
