To upgrade an A10 Control instance, perform the following:
Verify prerequisites.
Ensure sufficient disk space on the A10 Control master node.
The requirement is: 150 GB + 5% of the root partition size.
To verify available disk space, run the following command:
$ df -h /
If the root partition size is 628 GB.
Minimum required free space = 150 GB + (5% of 628 GB) = 181 GB.
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/mapper/vg_main-lv_root 628G 381G 216G 64% /
Since 216 GB is available, the upgrade can proceed.
If the available space is below this threshold, free up space or add storage before proceeding.
Upgrade and verify.
Run the upgrade command on the master node.
Monitor the upgrade progress.
Reboot all the nodes from GUI.
After completion, verify that the upgrade was successful.
