
The Upgrade Cluster Image feature allows Organization Admins to upgrade the ACOS software image on multi-node cluster and entire VCS clusters. It ensures a smooth and automated process with:
| NOTE: | Cluster upgrade is supported for multi-node clusters and VCS cluster, and not for Scaleout clusters. Use the workflow logs to troubleshoot the failures. |
To upgrade the image for a cluster, perform the following steps:
On Cluster Upgrade page, enter or select the following details:

Select an ACOS upgrade image from the drop-down. |

Select the cluster(s) that you want to upgrade. |

Select Hard Disk (HD) or Compact Flash (CF) drive. |

Select Primary or Secondary disk to upgrade.

Save config before upgrade |
Toggle Enabled to save running configurations. |

Reboot after upgrade |
Toggle Enabled to reboot the cluster devices after upgrade. (For VCS cluster, enabled mandatory for VCS staggered mode). |

Select when to upgrade the image. Options:

Starts on |
If Schedule is selected, then choose the date and time of the upgrade using the calendar. |

Time Zone |
If the Schedule is selected, then choose the time zone from the drop-down. |

Pre/Post Check Template |
(Optional) Attach a CLI validation template. |

Rollback Image For VCS |
Select the image to be rollback. |
Click Upgrade.
