Reboot or Shut Down a Single Node (Node-Level) Through GUI

Node-level power operations allow you restart or shut down a specific node without affecting the entire cluster.

NOTE:

Ensure at least two nodes remain active in a three-node cluster to keep the GUI accessible.

Prerequisites:

• Verify that the node is in a healthy (green) state before initiating the power operations.

• If multiple sequential reboots are required, wait until the previous node is fully online and Ceph storage has synchronized.

• Ensure you have access to the hypervisor interface to restart nodes after a shutdown.

To reboot or shutdown all nodes:

1. Navigate to A10 Control > Power.
2. Click Refresh to ensure all the available nodes are listed.

3. Locate the node you want to reboot or shutdown.

4. To reboot, click the Reboot icon and confirm.

   The node goes offline temporarily and restarts automatically.

5. To shut down, click the Shutdown icon and confirm.

   The node power off. However, you must restart them manually from the hypervisor interface. For information, see Manually Power on VM.

The Power page displays the node’s uptime (time since last reboot) so you can confirm the operation was successful.
