Create Device Users

Create Device user accounts that are used exclusively for registering ACOS devices into .

To create a device user:

1. On the Device Users page, click + Create.

2. On the Create Device Users page, enter the following:

   User Groups

   Field	Description
   User Name	A username for the device user who can register an ACOS device through CLI. It must be 4 to 32 characters length, contain only alphanumeric characters, and cannot include spaces.
   Password	A strong password for the device user. It must be of 14 characters length and contain one lowercase, one uppercase, one number, and one special character.
   Access Groups	Select an access group that has the Device Communicator role.

3. Click Save.

   The device user is created and displayed on the Device Users page.

   After creating a device user, register an ACOS device through the CLI using the credentials of the newly created user. For information, see Device Registration Through CLI Using Device User.
