Configure an ALG

To configure an ALG:

  1. Navigate to CGN Technology > LSN (NAT 44) > ALG
  2. Click + Add ALG.
  3. On the Add ALG page, specify the required details and click Create.
    The create confirmation message is displayed.

The following fields are available for the configuration:

Field

Description

DNS

This option enables or disables LSN ALG support for Domain Name Server (DNS).

By default, ALG support for DNS is enabled.

ESP

This option enables or disables LSN ALG support for Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP).

FTP

This option enables or disables LSN ALG support for File Transfer Protocol (FTP).

By default, ALG support for FTP is enabled.

H323

This option enables or disables LSN ALG support H323 standard.

MGCP

This option enables or disables LSN ALG support for Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP).

PPTP

This option enables or disables LSN ALG support for Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP).

RTP STUN Timeout (Min­utes)

Change the RTP/RTCP Session Traversal Utilities for NAT (STUN) timeout for full-cone sessions.

Specify a value between 2 to 10. The default value is 5 minutes.

RTSP

This option enables or disables LSN ALG support for Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP).

SIP

This option enables or disables LSN ALG support for Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).

SIP - RTP STUN Timeout

Change the RTP/RTCP Session Traversal Utilities for NAT (STUN) timeout for full-cone sessions.

Specify a value from 2 to 10 minutes. The default value is 5 minutes.

TFTP

This option enables or disables LSN ALG support for Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP).
