Create a Report Schedule

You can schedule a report either to run immediately or at a specific date and time. The reports can be scheduled to run one time only or every 6 hours, 12 hours, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Once the reports are generated, they can be sent to the intended email recipients.

NOTE: If you are generating a report by clicking on Report from another page, skip to select the Create a Report Schedule.

Report Details

  1. Go to Monitoring > Reports > Report Scheduler.
  2. On the Report Scheduler page, click Create to schedule a report.
  3. Expand the Report Details section to see the following fields:

    Purpose

    Type

    Select a report type from the following options:

    • Protected Zone Detail Report
    • Protected Zones Summary Report
    • Protected Zone Incident Detail Report
    • Protected Zones Incident Summary Report

    Protected Zone

    Enter a Protected Zone.

    NOTE: A check box to All Zones is displayed for Protected Zone Summary Report and Protected Zone Incident Summary Report.

    Time Range

    Select a time range to restrict the data of the report:

    • Last Hour
    • Last 6 Hours
    • Last 24 Hours
    • Last 7 days
    • Last 30 days
    • Last Calendar Month
    • All
    NOTE: Last Calendar Month option is available only for Protected Zone Detail Report, Protected Zones Summary Report, Protected Zone Incidents Summary Report.

    Schedule Type

    Select one of the following options:

    • Immediate—Generates a report immediately.
    • Schedule—Schedules a report at a specified time. Perform the following:
      • Start Datetime—Enter the start date and time in the following format: yyyy-mm-dd HH:MM:SS
      • Schedule Option—Select an option to determine how frequently the report must be generated.
    • On Incident Stop —Generates reports when an incident stops.

    Format

    Select the file format for the report. You can either select one or both of the following options :

    • PDF
    • CSV

    Email Recipient

    Enter the email addresses of the recipients to who you wish to send the reports. Use a comma to separate email addresses.

    Report Description Enter a description to the report.
  5. Expand the Report Customization section to see the following fields:

    Fields

    Purpose

    Filename(Prefix)

    Enter the prefix that precedes the report name. For example, if you enter Report01, the report file name can be Report01-20180927-<title>.pdf.

    Title

    Enter the name of the report.

    The report appears as Report_Title within the generated document.

    Include Sections

    Select the check boxes to include the information you want in the report.

    NOTE: If you have an existing zone incident summary report that is periodically scheduled from previous releases, edit the schedule to include the new sections in future reports.
  6. Click Submit.

    The following table describes the information shown in each column.

    Description

    Report Type

    Displays the report type information.

    Object

    Displays the protected object involved with the report scheduler if applicable.

    Description

    Displays the description provided during report creation.

    Scheduled

    Displays the time scheduled for report generation.

    Start Time

    Displays the time when the schedule was started.

    Next Run Time

    Displays the next period when a report will be generated.

    Actions

    Click on the hyperlink to be taken to the Reports page.
